This question really depends on your schedule. In most cases we will work around your plans. In the case that we cannot grant a special accommodation, our crews work 7am - 8pm. We will contact you the morning of and specify time of arrival.

In order to ensure proper adhesion of the sealcoat and crack fill the asphalt needs to first be prepared. If you do not have time to clean your driveway, or just do not want to deal with it, Nexus Sealcoat can clean it for an additional cost. If you do decide to power wash your asphalt please do it no less than 24 hours prior to our arrival.
You should refrain from fertilizing around your asphalt for at least a week before and after sealcoat application. We will prime any oil spots prior to sealcoating to ensure adhesion.

Depending on how excessive the flaking is, we will either power wash the asphalt or scrub it clean with wire bristle power brooms and dispose of any debris that was created.
Anywhere from 12-24 hours depending on what the temperature and weather is like outside. In summer you can usually walk on freshly sealed asphalt about 5 hours after it is finished, and about 12 hours until traffic can be reintroduced.
No, it will not harm the surrounding environment. Even though the sealant will not hurt your grass, we work meticulously to make sure sealant or crack filler does not end up anywhere that it is not supposed to be.
There are a few solutions to this problem, for alligator cracked areas we will use "Gator Patch" or hot rubber crack fill to contain the issue so it doesn't spread. Areas that sealing will no longer benefit can be saw - cut, torn out, and replaced with new asphalt if necessary. If it happens to be a pothole where chunks of the asphalt is missing, another cost-effective solution would be to use cold patch.
